Phillipsburg is a town in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the town's population was 14,950, reflecting an increase of 2,872 (+23.8%) from the 12,078 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,370 (+12.9%) from the 10,708 counted in the 1990 Census. Phillipsburg was incorporated as a town by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 8, 1861, from portions of Phillipsburg Borough, Lopatcong Township and Pohatcong Township. The town is located on the border of Warren County and Northampton County in the easternmost part of the Lehigh Valley.
